i am, for some unknown reason Against Hypemachine, i think it's cos in my mind it's related to elbo.ws and lots of kids posting music without comment (beyond "lol this rocks" etc) which i find Annoying. maybe i'll give it another go though.

also, i am now listening to the duckworth/lewis method album again, and it's top :)

I thought it just aggregated all the songs posted on all the blogs (some measure of 'all of', anyway) in one place. I haven't seen a facility for commenting, just pressing on the hearts to say you like thing so they end up on your own list.

I like it for the way it throws up lots of remixes that I'd never otherwise hear. It hadn't occured to me before, but it does seem that those kind of things, new versions of stuff, do seem to surface through the music blogs. Like, reading some of the blogs before it seemed like Xxxxchange had his name on lots of stuff, and going on hypem you can put in his name and see all the songs that've been posted that he's been involved with. Which is sort of interesting. To me anyway.

Ah, I hadn't really thought of it like that - I think I'd imagined it was loads of people all over the place going 'I love this song!' and all the love and the songs getting funnelling onto the one convenient site, but yeah. Maybe I was being a bit naive.

Hurrah for carte blanche work non-attendance. I am off until FRIDAY, good god, despite feeling fine now aside from continuing procrastination re: going to the laundrette. I also feel I ought to do something more constructive but then again that's basically ye ftory of myne lyffe.
