I am heartily considering this, but they were v disappointing when I saw them last :(

oh they were perfectly adequate when i saw them, we had a fire alarm and everything (at ULU). i'm sure that this was in no way connected to them only having the first alBUM to play and wanting to pad out an hour long headlining slot...

Ha, I went to see The Automatic (yes yes I know I know don't judge me too harshly pls) just before their 1st album came out and not only was it THE worst venue/worst sound/room so hot and badly ventilated you wanted to die, but their set lasted 35 entire minutes and that was INCLUDING a totally padded-out version of Monster. I totally wanted my money back.
