the climate camp twitters at:
http://twitter.com/climatecamp
(unsurprisingly)
are so lovely so far, am almost tempted to pop down after work just to say hello...
am definitely going to pop down after work, short of hearing anything untoward in teh meantime, which seems unlikely... |

haha one of my friends is furiously twittering "bunch of smelly hippies, get out of my way" followed swiftly by "they really do smell horrific"
The most irritating and stinky people appear to be the Guardian's "representatives" twittering a load of "ooh there might be a bit of BLOOD ooh ooh" (not the climatecamp twitter, obv they are proper hippiedippies).
yeah I basically only really want to know if people (bankers) are ACTUALLY killed or capitalism is actually brought down.
Sadly there is still the odd hippy protestor anarchist type who thinks that washing is towkowing to the MAN. (at the proper climate camp in the summer we had showers set up! And in fairly heavy use.) (though let's face it, many of the ppl on carsmilesteve's FL, including myself, have spent 5 days at Glastonbury without having a shower other than courtesy of a handful of baby wipes :) )
I am v tempted to pop over the river after work, as well.
sounds like the hooha around the bank is pretty much over, they've released the kettle and most ppl have drifted off...
i still don't have your number btw...
Oh good! Wd rather not risk getting caught up in the bank chaos.
I'll email you my number - I still haven't transferred all of mine to the new phone and do not have yours!

Marna visited the camp and got stuck there for 5 hours while the riot police ringed it and didn't let anyone leave.
eek! i was wondering how long they'd stayed...
...i only stuck around for half an hour, everyone seemed to be having a good time at that point. | |
