I went to Cornwall and paddled in the sea and ate lots of cheese and saw fishes and boats and sculptures and ART and some nice cats and the EDAMEDEN PROJECT, and then we drove home and it was TOO HOT. Also my runner beans are growing. Hurrah!
Poptimism was acetiems, it is very very warm. Those are the haps as far as I can tell them. Or well, I assume you know that Michael Jackson's dead.
Well that and I'm listening to a dubstep remix of Rio by Duran Duran; Iam developing a theory that dubstep is the new happy hardcore in the sense that there seems to be a version of LITERALLY ANYTHING. I doubt that counts as a hap tho.
'a dubstep remix of Rio by Duran Duran'
where can i hear this?
that is marvellously awful thanks!
The Bloodhound Gang need your vote in the latest 2000s poll!
Quick, close the poll now!!!
I sat in a field and drank acoustical beer!
I went to a barbecue it was nice.
P'mism as all the ace, and I played tunes at Hangover Lounge and it was mega fun and I want to do it again!
1: rip swellsy and wacko jacko :( 2: there was a hailstorm with hail the size of brussels sprouts* 3: moggy tried to get me drunk at poptimism by gettin me GIN instead of vodka
*tiny miniature brussels sprouts
no that was the mad barman! i was trying to get you drunk but not by spiking you with teh gins. apart from anything else, vodka's cheaper innit.
I was the only person in the world not to go to poptimism and I regret that.
No, I missed it too, thanks to plumbing problems. Um, in my kitchen, not my body.

there was a poptimism, which was good! and a radio show, which was also good! and uh that was about it, for me, it's not been a weekend high on haps.
i did not go to poptimism. i hung out in a wicked field (or rather a woody bit) for METEOR CAMP. not dead. saw THE BOSS.
I am no longer affiliated with that nice lady you met :( Though she is still nice in my estimation and I in hers (I think), which is something I suppose.
a storm fell on my head whilst cycling. My brother was a pain. My uncle is now a vicar.
It was nice and sunny, I had a burger in a pub on Saturday, and then I had an awesome dim sum and tube walk on Sunday. Also, I dare not even say what my pub tally is at for this month :(
Me too.
I think I got a txt from you (no name attached to it) about Jazz-stage meeting? I want to adopt the lead singer of King Blues. We got into the Snake Pit cos we is cool and hip. Spent an entire day around site in jim-jams. Saw Robin Ince watching Robyn Hitchcock. Laughed far too much at Brendan Burns, Ed Byrne doing Brendan impressions, and the stunning wrongness of Frank Sanazi.
haha, yes, that was me! i got a bit over-excited (definitely not the perry... ok, maybe the perry) that *almost* everyone i knew on-site was in one place at once, so texted you and a couple of other people who i knew were coming but hadn't seen... |
